As produções “Xógum: A gloriosa saga do Japão”, “Hacks” e “Bebê Rena” foram os grandes vencedores do Emmy 2024. A premiação, considerada a mais importante da televisão norte-americana, aconteceu na noite de domingo (15), em Los Angeles (EUA), e foi comandada pela dupla de pai e filho Eugene Levy e Dan Levy.

Neste ano, o destaque foi “Xógum”. A série levou quatro estatuetas, que se somaram às outras 14 recebidas durante o Creative Emmy Awards, dedicado às categorias técnicas. Além de quebrar o recorde em número de vitórias, a série se tornou a primeira em língua não inglesa a levar o prêmio de “Melhor Série Dramática” – principal da noite.
Outro que surpreendeu foi “Hacks”, que levou o prêmio de “Melhor Série de Comédia”, desbancando “The Bear”, favorita para a categoria. Já nas categorias de minissérie, a grande vencedora foi a produção de “Bebê Rena”, que ganhou quatro estatuetas, incluindo os prêmios de “Melhor Roteiro”, “Melhor Ator” e “Melhor Atriz”.
Outras séries como “True Detective: Night Country”, “The Morning Show” e “The Crown” também foram premiadas.
